Long ride for charity cyclists

A team of fundraisers at a Holbeach company are ready to get in the saddle help a charity.
The team from Lynas Vokes Investments will be virtually riding from Lands End to John O’Groats and raising money for Prostate Cancer UK.
They will be working together from Monday (October 5) to complete the equivalent 874-mile journey on exercise bikes to raise both money and awareness.
“Throughout the challenge, colleagues will take turns on the bike as we track our progress from the very tip of Cornwall to the northernmost point of mainland Scotland,” said a team spokesman.
They are aiming to raise £5,000 and donations can be made via the website www.justgiving.com and searching for Lynas Vokes Investment Ltd fundraising for Prostate Cancer UK.
“As a local business we are passionate about supporting this important cause, and we hope that sharing our efforts with the wider community may encourage others to get involved, whether by making a donation, spreading awareness or simply following out progress.”
