Immerse yourself in the history of the Great War with a new exhibition at Lincoln’s Museum of Lincolnshire Life.
From this week until the end of the year the museum will host a major exhibition highlighting the impact on Lincolnshire of the declaration of war in 1914.
Showcasing key objects preserved from The Great War, from the Royal Lincolnshire Regimental collection, many never displayed before.
There are also many personal items which illustrate what life was like here on the home front and how the entire community was pulled in ‘a war to end all wars’.
This exhibition begins a series of five which will chronicle each autumn, the story of World War One from a Lincolnshire perspective.
