Crowson Volkswagen Pinchbeck & District Winter Darts League champions Lincoln Arms A took a step nearer completing a 100 per cent campaign with a 6-3 win at second-placed Services Club B.
Steve Rawding was the only singles success for Services, beating Steve Gaughan 2-0.
Third-placed Consti Club C failed to take advantage of Services’ defeat, going down 5-4 at home to Lincoln Arms D. Girl power in two of the last three singles secured victory with Eva Spinks and Stacey Banister both winning 2-0, against Josh and Paul Faulkner respectively. Tony Spinks was the other Lincoln winner.
Pinchbeck FC A were victorious in both their matches, with 5-4 and 6-3 wins over Green Dragon A. Mark Dixon hit a 180 for the football club and Tim Hester registered a 128 checkout for the Dragon.
Consti Club B won 5-4 at Drayman’s Arms A. Scott Lawrence and Stu Ewins won the last two singles to claim victory for Consti. Connor Newton had a 180 in his pairs game and Phil Newton a 16-dart leg in his singles win, both for Drayman’s.
Consti Club Z need just one point from their last game to secure the Division B title, thanks to a 7-2 win at Pinchbeck FC B. Paul Merrill was the only singles loser for Consti, beaten 2-1 by Mick Warren. Brandon Elderkin had a 180 for the Consti and Tom Elderkin a 15-dart leg for the Pinchbeck side.
Second-placed Green Dragon Z lost 5-4 at Lincoln Arms C. Wins for Dean Peacock and Callum Day in the last two singles for the Dragon kept the scoreline close.
Third-placed Kirton Leisure are just seven points behind Dragon Z with a game in hand after a 5-4 home win against Drayman’s Arms A.
Services Club A won 5-4 at Consti Club A, while bottom side Green Dragon C were 4-2 up against the Consti Club D but wins for John Robinson, Nick Collins and Danny Drage in the last three singles gave the Consti a 5-4 victory.
