Lexi’s locks set for the chop

A Spalding gymnastics coach is to dramatically cut her hair for charity.

Lexi Coote is having 12 inches cut off to be donated to the Little Princess Trust Charity that creates wigs for children who suffer hair loss due to illness.

“I am the worst person for not getting my hair cut,” said Lexi who as well as coaching with Holbeach and Fenland Gymnastcs Club is also in her second year of training to be a primary school teacher.

“I try to go as little as possible and hate each inch getting cut off.

“However I feel 12 inches being cut off and a child receiving a wig would be worth it.”

Lexi is set to undertake the cut at Smudge Barbers at Definitions Health and Fitness Gym in Spalding at 11am on Friday, May 24 and is looking to raise over £500. To donate, search for Lexi’s Hair Donation on Just Giving.
