Regarding your article in The Voice (August 10), on the MBE investiture for Steve Machin, I would like to offer my sincere congratulations to Steve on receiving the special presentation of the MBE for his services to King and country.
You were also first on the scene of a terrorist attack on London Bridge in November 2019.
Your professionalism, integrity and expertise we all need to keep us safe, and is very much appreciated.
You are a very brave and caring man.
May I also offer my congratulations to you to be named as a recipient in the first birthday honours of King Charles in June.
May I say you certainly deserve this special award of the MBE and well done.
