LETTERS – We really need your help

Holbeach is a 94-year-old branch of Royal British Legion and we need help.
In particular we need someone to take on the post of secretary. This post is as onerous as the holder cares to make it. It is an important post, as the holder controls all the correspondence and records for the branch.
We raised £12,463 for the Poppy Appeal last year but desperately need people to help with the forthcoming appeal.
We also need new members. We know there is a lot of development in the Holbeach area, and feel that there are many ex-servicemen and women in these new developments. Unfortunately, our present situation does not enable us to reach out to these people as we would wish.
You do not need to have been in the Armed Forces. You would be welcome to join us whether you are ex-service or not.
If you would like to find out more please contact me on 07925 001933.
