Over the last three to four weeks visiting Spalding town centre I have had the pleasure (!) of seeing the demolition of the old and construction of the new seating/resting area taking place.
I do understand it’s not completed yet.
Seriously I’m shocked at what I’ve seen so far, there’s so much I could say but I don’t think you’d print it!
It seems to me it’s a reincarnation of the old seating area, the only difference at the moment the regulars have moved round the corner waiting to return!
I’d like to know the full costs of this construction.
1) The meetings held and the expenses claimed.
2) The entire construction from start to finish, material, labour etc.
SHDC you should hang your heads in shame!
Don’t you realise this is public money you are wasting?
I have just read there’s even more money laying in wait for your next trick.
I would also like to know what the shops in the area think about it?
