LETTERS – This was not a protest vote

I would like to say thank you to all the residents of St John’s Ward who voted for me in the recent district elections.
I look forward to working with my fellow ward councillor Manzur Hasan to tackle issues and improve things where we can.
I would like to re-iterate the views of Coun Rob Gibson. This was not a protest vote, this was a vote about in-action and broken promises on a local level. People want to see things getting done.
I only hope that the leadership recognises this and works with us to help improve lives across the whole SHDC area.
