LETTERS – Things need to change

Every day I walk various routes around the town and surrounding areas and find more and more rubbish being ignored by SHDC.

A while ago they proclaimed the Pride in South Holland scheme was the bee’s knees to tidy up the derelict buildings in the area.

Have they seen the old Bull and Monkie site recently?

The huge sign proclaiming that the site was tidied by this system is laying flat on the ground, weeds and Buddleia grow in profusion, along with rubbish.

This just goes to show that the people we have voted in to look after us and the town, don’t get off their back sides and walk round our town.

If things don’t change Spalding will become a third world town, if it hasn’t already.
