I would like to thank local company Gousto for their generous donation of 500 food boxes to local residents.
They made contract with South Holland District Council and the Communities team were swiftly putting into action a plan to deliver these boxes.
I joined council officers, fellow councillors and volunteers to deliver these boxes to deserving residents and during a torrential rain storm.
The boxes include receipt cards and the ingredients to make quality meals.
Delivery also took place to key community groups, including food banks.
This kind offer was a welcome festive surprise to those who received the boxes.
Once again thank you to all those involved in making this possible.
