LETTERS – Thanks to everyone who gave

For the past two weeks the St Thomas Project centre on St Thomas’s Road, Spalding, has been open to receive donations of items to be sent to help the Ukrainian people, whether in their homeland or in those countries which have opened their doors to the many refugees.

We managed to fill a transit van and still needed to make a second trip to the Anglia Motel in Fleet, where Boxes of Hope will be dealing with the logistics of getting loads where they need to be!

We are no longer collecting at St Thomas’s Road, but if anyone still has items to donate, they can contact me on 07981 069875 and I will try to arrange collection.

A heartfelt thank you goes to all who have made any contribution, whether it be with material goods, money or time; without the small band of willing helpers, we would not have been able to do this.
