I write to offer my thanks to all the residents of the Spalding Wygate ward who were kind enough to put their faith in me again this year.
A very special thank you to my amazing wife Linda who, despite her own challenges, was determined to actively support me.
Using her electric three wheeler, she supported my daughter Jenni and her friend, Daz ‘the delivery whirlwind’, leafleting for me.
So efficient were they as a team when they ran out of leaflets the day before the polls opened, I thought they were going to deliver the empty boxes, just for something to do! Thank you again to everybody.
I’m very pleased to see residents of all ages are already using the outdoor gym equipment recently installed at The Hayfields open space.
Christine and I will now continue to work on behalf of the whole community, to seek further improvements across the ward and do our utmost deliver our much needed community centre at its heart.
