I just wanted to show my gratitude for the kind person who found my shopping.
On Monday (November 3) I went to Sainsbury’s though I wasn’t feeling well.
Normally afterwards I’d put my shopping in the boot, but I instead put it on the floor intending to put it in the back where it would be easier to get out when I got home.
However I drove off and left it.
I got home and couldn’t work out where the shopping was until, ‘oh no’ I realised I’d left it in the car park.
I thought it would be long gone but still drove back to Sainsbury’s and went to the customer service desk to ask if anyone had handed it in.
She looked up, smiled, and said ‘yes’.
I couldn’t believe it.
I just have to thank them in the paper for what they’ve done.
There’s so many sad stories around I feel it’s important that something like this has to be publicised.
