LETTERS – Television report was misleading

It was on the early evening news Tuesday night that Spalding was one of two towns to vote to stay in the EU and as a local we know the other town is Boston

I don’t agree with that as every working man I have spoken to around here wants out as do I.

I think this is misleading as the only ones likely to vote to stay in the EU in this area would be the rich businessmen who run large factories and farmers who need large numbers of workers to do there work for them, and where does cheap labour come from? Well I don’t think I need to tell you that either.

The Spalding residents they interviewed didn’t really give an answer, I get the feeling that the media didn’t show or interview enough people to answer for the majority of us who live here.
