LETTERS – Society is a hidden gem

What a little advertised Spalding gem The Gentlemen’s Society museum is.
Having just visited, I have to say I found the history and artefacts of Spalding and surrounding villages fascinating.
The very knowledgeable steward Pat Wensor and staff were very friendly and helpful.
My husband and I thoroughly recommend this and enjoyed our visit.
It’s to the detriment of our town that this is not advertised or frequented more often, along with all the other interesting buildings.
Maybe the council should take note, an information board could be erected in the town centre stating exactly where and what these properties are, not only in Spalding but in out lying villages.
