LETTERS – Rules depend on who you are

In response to Aaron Woods’ letter of May 7, it would seem that Morrisons’ security changes the rules depending who you are.

On Thursday May 7, I was waiting to go into the shop there were about three people in front of me.

The security guard was talking to a young couple and going by what was said, I assumed that they all knew each other.

They were allowed to go in together but were told not to walk too close to each other.

On Monday, May 11 a mother and two teenage daughters were allowed to go in and told to each carry a basket.

Life is hard enough for disabled people and security should use their common sense where disabled people are concerned and ensure everyone else abides by the same rules, however inconvenient it may be.
