LETTERS – Rotary Club is here to help

The coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak is impacting on the regular way of life for everyone.

Members of Rotary Clubs throughout Great Britain are not meeting in the usual way, including the Rotary Club of South Holland.

We would like to let the community know that we are still here and wishing to help the community in whatever way we can.

Although we are complying with official advice and requirements in respect of social distancing, isolating where necessary, we keep in touch by telephone and email to discuss whatever help we can provide.

The club continues to support various local charities and good causes as usual and we are still available to receive new requests to help, especially now.

So, despite the present difficulties, if we are contacted for help, even though we may not be able to provide physical assistance ourselves, we may know someone who can be contacted to help.

We would also encourage people to safely check on their neighbours, family and friends who may also need help at this time.

To get in touch, please telephone our secretary Ian Smee on 01775 714722.
