After three attempts to repair the sink hole in Boston Road South, Holbeach, it is once again sinking badly.
In another week or two, low-slung cars will be bottoming out, especially if drivers are new to this stretch of road.
There is a warning sign, but really the problem should be addressed once and for all.
Is this on the path of the old Holbeach River, which I understand was buried many years ago?
There used to be barges that came up the river into Holbeach. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to turn Holbeach back into a coastal town again.
Perhaps this persistent sink hole is trying to tell us something.
