LETTERS – Please let vans use the tip

Interested to read front page of The Voice about the tip.

Our bug bear is that to use a van you have to register the log book! Although my husband has full private use of his work van, he doesn’t have his name on the log book.

We have a big garden and used to visit the tip to get rid of garden waste every fortnight, now we have to use our lovely car and ram it full of grass cuttings every week.

Apart from being environmentally unfriendly, it’s damaging our car.

We only used the van for garden or large items – this rule is ridiculous!

Get them to abolish the log book and let everyone in with a van again.
