The amount of speeding vehicles down Park Road in Spalding is getting ridiculous.
Park Road from the Pinchbeck Road end to the footbridge is mainly free from parked vehicles and the road surface is good, so many take this opportunity to put their foot down, several easily travelling at more than twice the 30mph speed limit – some even faster than that.
What many seem to be oblivious to is there are two give ways very close together, they are Speyer Avenue and Park Close.
I see many vehicles overtaking at these points which they should not be doing, and I have seen a vehicle hit another that was pulling out of Park Close as he was overtaking another vehicle that was indicating to turn right into Park Close. How dumb was that? But that is how stupid these speeders are.
I do and always will report and send CCTV footage along with the speeder’s vehicle reg to the police, as these morons need to learn Park Road is not a racetrack.
