LETTERS – I was lied to the first time I voted

In response to I Sloan – I was also lied to 47 years ago, the very first time I voted.

We were then told it would be free trade with all the countries of Europe.

No one had any idea it would grow arms and legs and grow into the money wasting monster it is today.

Where would it all end?

As for racism (that old chestnut), I like to treat everyone with respect and I in turn would expect the same.
