LETTERS – I suspect Lloyds might close

I have just read the report about the coming closure of Barclays bank.
On seeing the headlines, I thought it was going to be about the Halifax Building Society.
On my last visit there, I was informed by a member of staff that the branch was scheduled to close on April 18.
For the record, the Halifax is part of the HBOS group. Lloyds bank is also part of the HBOS group, so I suspect it’s only a matter of time before the Lloyds bank closes too.
Hope I am proven wrong.
