Regarding the letter from Nicholas de Jong in the June 4 edition of The Voice.
I also received the same letter from Sir John Hayes dated May 20.
The original question was: ‘Will he do all within his power to prevent the sell off of any parts of the NHS in any future trade deals’.
However he seems to have missed the main point that has nothing to do with the crash of 2008 caused by the big financial institutions and two of his colleagues played a major part in the collapse namely the current chancellor and his predecessor.
I totally agree with Nicholas and Sir John states he’s passionate re the NHS.
Well if this is the case why did he stand up clap and cheer with his colleagues when voting against a pay rise for the NHS staff?
As far as tough decisions go since 2010 he has continually voted for all the austerity measures introduced by Cameron and Osborne.
This letter shows they all sing from the same hymn sheet and are instructed what to say.
