Letters – Holbeach RBL raised £10,400 for Poppy Appeal

The Holbeach branch of the Royal British Legion has done its sums following this year’s Poppy Appeal, and it seems the people of the town have once again been very generous.

A total of almost £10,400 was raised.

Every year we are so grateful to everyone in Holbeach who contributes to the Poppy Appeal.

Every penny raised goes to help support veterans and service personnel who need our support.

My colleagues and I are already turning our minds to next year’s fundraising effort.

Possible special events include a golf day and a clay pigeon shoot, but the British Legion is always open to other ideas!
