LETTERS – ‘Histrionic’ response to Reform

I read Mr Kent’s letter regarding the rise of Reform and his histrionic projecting the rise of the Nazis upon it.

I was so irritated that I felt I had to respond.

In part I do appreciate this comparison as being accurate, alike the rise of the Nazis, as the British people have had comparable transgressions made against them by international power.

Mr Kent appears to be wilfully ignorant, of the fact, that the rise of the Nazis was proceeded by the Treaty of Versailles where the German people were impoverished, struggled to feed themselves, had limited self governance, were rampantly being taken advantage of and were not allowed to control their own borders.

This is clearly akin to the last 20 years of the British Government, where we are being systematically “de colonised” which of course is a polite, middle class, politically correct euphemism for cultural genocide.

Personally I believe that this is worse than the genocide by displacement that is clearly also going on under the guise of “multiculturalism”

Hopefully I haven’t lost your readers as I am finally getting to the point that Mr Kent appears to have missed in his blanket defamation of the people of Lincolnshire.

We have experienced in one generation, the same migration the rest of the UK has experienced in four to five generations. It is quite right that people are voting for a party that states an aim to do something about the issue which the whole country has persistently mandated national governments to do.

This is not because the voters in Lincolnshire are fascistic, but because every single one of them remembers a time when immigration was at a manageable level, unlike elsewhere in the country, we all remember this.

I would suggest Mr Kent spends less time reading the propaganda of the Guardian and more time pondering the implications of history books so that he does not fall into fascistic behaviour, as his letter to you implies he may.

Personally I am not afraid of immigrants, I married one, I am afraid of governments who do not listen to their people and who outsource their decision-making to foreign interests at the expense of their own people.

This and people like Mr Kent who endorse this criminal status quo and vilify anyone who does not conform to their vision concern me greatly.
