LETTERS – Health and wellbeing event

Health and Wellbeing for Spalding will be the theme of an upcoming networking event organised by Beechfield Medical Centre Patient Participation Group, the Spalding Neighbourhood Team, Spalding Primary Care Network and key partners across the NHS.

The event will highlight the various healthcare services available to the public in the Spalding area.
Collectively, they will come together to show how they can support residents with their physical and mental health, as well as support the social wellbeing of the local community.

Both the public and professionals are welcome to attend.

Dr JA Babu, GP Beechfield Medical Centre said everyone attending aspires to deliver an exemplary standard of care to residents, clients, and patients.

Clive Green, chairman of the Patient Participation Group (PPG) for Beechfield Medical Centre, added that the event will highlight the services available and uncover opportunities that enable Integrated Neighbourhood Working and allow it to become the common practice for how people living in the Spalding area can be supported.

The event is being held on Tuesday, January 24, 10am-3pm at South Holland Centre, 23 Market Place, Spalding, PE11 1SS.
