LETTERS – Graveyard is terribly overgrown

I am writing after visiting my late wife’s grave in Deeping St Nicholas and seeing what a mess the graveyard is in.

It is completely overgrown and looks terrible.

You would think there should be some pride in the village and the churchyard would be nicely kept.

I do try and cut the grass near my wife’s grave, but I can’t do it on my own and I have tried.

It has happened in the past, but this year it is really bad – you can’t see the graves for the grass surrounding them.
Please can the churchyard be tended so families can visit, and see, the graves of their loved ones.
