LETTERS – Extra £28 makes a difference

Rodney’s letters are always interesting and factually correct, and this one highlighting yet another case of ordinary folk forced to pay for corporate greed and mismanagement being no exception.
Another ‘little nasty’ slipped in by our caring, sharing government!
Energy companies racking up massive profits whilst forcing all of us to pay for the debts left by those unable to pay.
These companies should organise a fund to cover these losses, before paying out big dividends to shareholders.
We will have to pay an extra £28 per household.
To someone living on the state pension this isn’t a small sum – the difference between having a hot meal or making do with a sandwich.
Thank you, Rodney for flagging this one up.
