LETTERS – Events are reluctantly postponed

Due to the coronavirus pandemic and developing Government advice, the Spalding Gentlemen’s Society has reluctantly decided to cancel or suspend all of its forthcoming public events.

The last winter season Lecture ‘Standing on Uncertainty’ on March 27 will no longer take place; Museum Open Days will be discontinued for the foreseeable future, as will group visits to the society.

The 2020 Symposium – Vikings and Anglo-Saxons in Lincolnshire and the Fens – planned for April 18, has been postponed.

All payments received to date will be returned and SGS will contact ticket purchasers again when circumstances permit the event to be rearranged. Special arrangements are being put in place for member volunteers.

For ongoing information please keep in touch via the SGS website www.sgsoc.org or email [email protected].
