I would just like to thank and congratulate everyone concerned who helped to organise, plan, coordinate and staff the vaccination hub at Springfields Event Centre this weekend, as well as all the volunteers who made it all possible.
Everyone there was friendly, helpful and cheerful and the whole thing flowed like a dream during my visit for my jab at 8.30am on what was a sunny Sunday morning.
I am sure the logistics behind it all were quite phenomenal but and it was great to see all the local surgeries supporting each other during these difficult times.
It felt like an incredibly safe environment throughout the process.
All the COVID guidance was being followed and the whole process was smooth.
It was just really good seeing everyone working together as part of a real team effort.
Once again congratulations on a job very well done.
