LETTERS – Confusing the UK with Britain

Phillip James gives Mr Macron a lesson in geography. I don’t suppose that’ll cause an international incident.

I suspect that Macron – if he wasn’t just teasing Johnson – was momentarily confusing “UK” with “Great Britain”; often done by English people too.

Northern Ireland is in the UK, but it isn’t in Great Britain.
