LETTERS – Beware of deep pot holes

I’ve just been to Peterborough along the main road from Spalding and there are so many pot holes from the Crowland roundabout to where the border of Peterborough highways start.

I counted over 70 very large holes, some over 2in deep and 12in wide and very big.

They are on both sides of the road, you cannot miss them.

The road before that has been resurfaced and is good, but this is getting beyond a joke.

I am in the process of contacting the highways department but think this should be made public knowledge to advise anyone travelling to Peterborough to be very careful as you could get your tyre stuck in one of the holes.
