LETTERS – Army of pensioners are ready

The co-ordinated strikes by left wing, Labour supporting unions is a General Strike in all but name.

Very similar to Putin’s war in the Ukraine described as a Special Military Operation.

The government is now calling on the services to step in.

There is a bigger army waiting in the wings. They are the pensioners who want to help and keep the country going in spite of the striking workers.

The government should set up a process for us pensioners to volunteer and help.

The strikers should realise that if people get used to not having them around, they will find alternatives and not return when the strikes are over.

I call them the OAWs – Old Able and Willing. Where can I sign up?
