LETTERS – Area is absolute mayhem

Has anyone tried navigating the A151 between The Broadway and Hawthorn Bank recently?

With the parking at the dentist, orthodontist and vets, plus all the multi lets, plus cars parked with people using the shop at the junction and Bennett’s Butchers, it was bad enough.

Now with the Robin Hood flats being occupied there are even more cars on the road.

I watched with interest, an HGV trying to turn left out Hawthorn Bank onto the A151 today, the driver did really well getting round on two goes.
Add to this the school run and you have absolute mayhem.

Who in their right mind allowed the shop and the Robin Hood development?

Didn’t they look how small that junction is?

Heaven alone knows what will happen if the proposed Spar shop is built at the top of Carrington Road.

There will be an accident waiting to happen.
