LETTERS – Abuse bravery is needed

As The Voice suggests (Sept 26) much admiration is due to Annette Bradley for her initiative, supported by the local police, in trying to raise awareness of the problem of domestic abuse.
Such bravery is certainly needed and aspects of the culture need to be challenged.
It is a shocking indication of problems that increases in domestic abuse tend to be reported every time there is a high profile football fixture featuring the national team.
I also cannot help thinking that too many men in positions of privilege are still allowed to get away with setting appalling moral examples.
