LETTERS – £5 charge is far too much

I have just received an item that Royal Mail charged £5 for as there was insufficient postage.
I was expecting a parcel so paid the fee but to my surprise posted through my door was a card with no stamp.
Well done Royal Mail. A profit of £4.15. I hope this warns everyone and they don’t get caught like me.
