LETTERS – 2018 was a good year for Santa

Members of The Rotary Club of South Holland together with our friends who helped Santa on his rounds during December would like to thank everyone in Spalding who supported us or donated.

We are delighted with the final total of more than £10,000 in our collection for Rotary charities.

We shall use the money during 2019 to support charities and other good causes in the local community, some national charities with local links and a few international good causes with whom we have close contact.

We must thank also Sainsbury’s and Morrison’s supermarkets who allowed us to collect on their premises, the district council for their permission and a special thanks to Sedge Homes for their sponsorship.

Anyone (male or female – yes, we do have lady members) interested in discovering more about the work of Rotary, considering becoming a member or a friend of the club, please look us up of Facebook or just Google “Rotary Club of South Holland.”

We will be pleased to hear from you and you can contact our secretary Ian Smee on 01775 714722 who can arrange for you to come along to meet us.

Our usual meeting place is Woodlands Restaurant on Pinchbeck Road on a Tuesday at 7pm.

Thanks again.
