LETTER: Wonderful turn out for service

I would like to share a few words about the Remembrance Sunday service held at Moulton Seas End this year.
It was a truly special occasion, with a wonderful turnout from the local community who came together to honour those who served.
The service itself was beautifully conducted, and the speech given by John Heron was exceptional — heartfelt, respectful, and deeply moving. It truly captured the spirit of remembrance.
Everyone who helped to organise and take part in the service deserves great credit for making it such a meaningful event.
Following the service, there were refreshments and biscuits and a military model and memorabilia exhibition held at the village hall, organised and displayed by John Heron, Samuel Heron and Chris Chandler supported by Debbie (his wife).
The collection was outstanding — an impressive display of history, dedication, and craftsmanship. Visitors were fascinated by the level of detail and care that went into each model, and the turnout reflected the community’s appreciation for their efforts.
It was a wonderful day of remembrance and community spirit, and a sincere thank you goes out to all those who helped make it possible.
