LETTER: What can be done about smell?

I was wondering if there is anything that can be done to get rid of the foul smell that descends over Severn Road, Coronation Close and the Royce Road area.

Residents suffer from this foul smell quite frequently even when the weather is cool, but during this heatwave the stench is unbearable.

I can’t have my windows open or sit in the garden when it’s really bad as it makes me feel physically ill.

I am not sure from which factory along the Coronation Drain the stench emanates but wonder if there is something that can be done to reduce it especially when the weather is hot.
