LETTER: What about leave it as it is?

Thank you for your very revealing article in The Voice (November 26) relating to Holbeach Parish Council’s proposed changes to Holbeach High Street.
The council gives only two choices but surely there should be a third one – leave it as it is.
As Holbeach residents we regularly travel along the High Street to shop or pass on to Spalding and all stops in between.
So far, in the 14 years we have lived here, we have encountered very few problems relating to traffic flow or access along the pavements on either side.
Surely each of the proposals should also include the routes the PC considers will replace access through the town.
As the survey can, seemingly, only be accessed from HPC Facebook page, how many residents actually have access to Facebook? I certainly don’t!
In my opinion, the council’s thinking on this begs the question ‘Who is really going to benefit from £4m fund being applied for?’
