LETTER: Well done to all involved with Spalding hospital

On Saturday, June 6, I attended my first civic duty as vice-chairman of South Holland District Council at the Johnson Community Hospital fair.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Johnson Hospital League of Friends for their kindness shown to my wife Christine and I during our visit.
The event was very well attended and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

I have to give a special commendation to the organisation and stallholders who made this event the success it was and I hope they made lots of money for their charity.

Last, but no means least, a mention for the music supplied by the ukelele band who put a smile on everyone’s face.
Well done to the Johnson Hospital League of Friends for a job well done.

Coun Rodney Grocock
Vice-chairman, South Holland District Council
