LETTER: Totally agree over toilets

I fully endorse the comments made by Heather James regarding the condition of the toilet facilities in Spalding.
Those in the Sheepmarket, which were originally opened several years ago to great acclaim, have through great misuse and lack of maintenance been closed now for a while.
Those by the bus station are disgusting, probably for similar reasons, and urinals in the men’s have been blocked off and boarded up for some time.
However, further to Heather’s comments regarding toilet facilities in King’s Lynn, I am sure this town will not have installed brightly coloured cycled racks dotted around the place as features of the landscape rather than something in regular use.
Still, I guess it has been decreed that the occasional visitor will have greater need of parking facilities for cycles rather than toilet facilities as they will have no reason to stay long enough to require them.
