LETTER: Thanks to those who were so generous

Recently a lady, who does not wish to be named, celebrated her 80th birthday with a party at the Unique Studio Cafe in Spalding and instead of donations she asked for donations to the Spalding Hospice Foundation.

Donations from her family and friends totalled a fantastic £3,000.

To add to that, further, Mr and Mrs Goodwin sold cakes at the cafe and raised a further £1,000 to take the fund to £4,000.

As chairman of the Spalding Hospice Foundation I’d like to thank all of the people who attended the party and who were so generous to help raise the foundation £4,000.
