LETTER: Thanks to all who helped on trip

My wife and I recently went on a trip with a group of from the Spalding Branch of the Parachute regiment.

My wife has to use a four-wheeled buggy and I have a walking stick. Although we had trouble getting on and off the coach the people were very patient and helped us as much as possible.

The people on the coach became friends.

We would not only like to thank our group of paras but to the rest of our friends on the coach, I didn’t know there were quite so many good, caring people about.
What I did find out was that it was not only the adults who asked the questions but the children.

I like children because they are the future.

I answer any question put to me as best as I can, but if I don’t know then I try and find out the answer.

If any group want to ask questions or want to see or hear me chat about the Glider Battalion which I was in, I will only be too pleased to help.
