LETTER: Thanks to all at the Pilgrim

May I use your letters page to express my sincere gratitude and thanks to the staff at the Day Care Unit at the Pilgrim Hospital.

Last Friday I attended the unit for surgery and from the moment I arrived till I left the care I received was second to none.

At all stages, from admission to preparation for the procedure with the surgeon and anaesthetist, through to discharge I was looked after by a team of caring professionals who were obviously dedicated to their patients.

Too often we hear only the bad about the Pilgrim but I have always been extremely happy with my treatment.
