LETTER: Thanks for kind gesture

This afternoon whilst shopping – luckily not for petrol – at Morrison’s, I was embarrassed to find that I did not have my credit card at the point of payment.
I had to return some of the goods and paid with the cash I had in my purse.
On the way out, and to my surprise the lady behind me in the queue rushed up to me with the goods I could not pay for.
She gave them to me and wished me Happy Christmas.
I would like to say a great thank you to her.
I hope I will get the chance to ‘return’ the gesture to somebody else in future.
Many thanks from the gentleman in the maroon jacket.
