LETTER: Thanks for helping to raise profile

I’d like to thank everyone who helped raise the profile of dementia in Lincolnshire by attending one of our events during Dementia Awareness Week.

We had a busy week with information stands in Spalding, Louth, Wragby, Caistor, Chapel St Leonards and Boston as well as Dementia Friends sessions, an early diagnosis event in Sleaford, a singing session in Lincoln and a great evening with the Lincolnshire Royal Air Force Association.

Of course, the work doesn’t end there and we need to get the message out to the 11,000 people living with the condition in Lincolnshire – and their carers – that life doesn’t end when dementia begins.

Alzheimer’s Society is here to help those living with dementia to hold on to their lives and the things they love for longer.

Our Lincolnshire office can be reached on 01522 692681 or [email protected]
