On Tuesday, April 26 I had a heavy fall in Spalding.
I had been to the Post Office and was heading back to my car to join my wife. I was nearing the steps leading to the main car park near Sainsbury’s when I tripped over and landed on my head.
After a few minutes I got up and noticed blood running down my face.
Two very kind ladies came to help me, called an ambulance and and took me back to my car.
I went to hospital in Spalding first and then Pilgrim Hospital. I had stitches and was bandaged. I must have been there for three hours.
A nurse then went to arrange a taxi to take my wife and I back to our car.
Can I say a special thank you to the two ladies (I think one was a councillor) and to the very professional and caring teams from the ambulance service (it came from Bourne) and the Pilgrim Hospital.
