LETTER: Thanks for handing in my ring

On Monday, January 18, I went shopping in my buggy to Aldi.

When I got home I discovered I had lost my Russian wedding ring (which is of sentimental value to me and very old).

After a sleepless night, I telephoned around all the shops I had visited.

I phoned Aldi and someone had found it and handed it in but left no name.

So I would like to say thank you to whoever it was via your newspaper.

It is nice in this time that there are still honest people about.
