LETTER: Students are a cut above for me

I am a wheelchair user and have difficulty in accessing some of the hairdressers in Spalding due to the height of the steps or insufficient door widths.

Imagine my surprise when I came across a little gem called The Style Academy on Red Lion Street.

It is fully accessible and they offer a wide range of services.

It is true that your hair is being cut by a second or third year student, but the results you get are better than some of the elite salons at a fraction of the cost. I would strongly recommend their services.

The only downside is that they are closed from July to September.

I am quite picky about who cuts my hair but I will certainly be going back, please give them a try, you will not regret it.
